His task is to punish the Fallen-angels who have become vampires-and command a restless pack of indentured lycans. But Adrian has suffered his own punishment for becoming involved with mortals- losing the woman he loves again and again. Now, after nearly two hundred years, he has found her-Shadoe-her soul once more inhabiting a new body, with no memory of him. And this time, he won't let her go.

My toughts:

Cover: omg one of my favorite pnr/uf angel covers.Him perched  and huge wings with a crimson red tips.

Book: I was disappointed. Did not make it after page 20. I was very confused what was happening ,who was narrating. So wanted to like it.I just quit and started a other book.

Synopsis: One-hundred-and-three-year-old nursing home resident Ruth Brookes holds the key to an unsolved series of murders, and what she knows has never been more important. A psychotic killer is once again stalking gay men in the streets of Austin.
Meanwhile, Matt Bell has finally decided to break out of the social isolation he’s lived in since being shot by the still-at-large killer, and meets the handsome, broody, and shy Thatcher. Both men are fighting their own demons as the killings start again. Soon the body count is rising and their friends are dropping like flies.
Will Ruth give up her secrets in time to stop the madman before Matt and Thatcher find themselves in the crosshairs of his rifle? Only Ruth knows for sure, because life is seldom black and white—more often it is just shades of blue.
My toughs:

Cover: A other great cover. It's a m/m[male/male] thriller/mystery.LOVe  the blue color scheme and lighting.

Book: Was so exited reading. Liked it from the beginning where the male protagonist interviews a granny. A few chapters later got a bit confused. I'll tell ya'll why? So many pov's were introduced and characters who did not return later in the book. At first 1 pov then 2  till 4 , 5 or more!! I quit in the middle of this book. I really liked the leading male but way to little ''screen time'.

Signed Books and Bold Strokes Books have been extremely gracious in allowing me to read a copy of these novel, via Netgalley, prior to itheir release October 4th 2011 and October 11th 2011

  1. I hate it when a book doesn't live up to the cover. I also hate it when the book doesn't live up to the title. Better luck next time!

  2. I have heard very mixed things about A Touch of Crimson. What you said about the beginning seems to be pretty unanimous. :(
